Short version: my contact form emails me what you typed, a cookieless counter tells me how many people opened a page, and I have never sold anything about a visitor to anyone.

Whose site this is

Hi. I'm Cohen Peterson. I race a 2005 Yamaha YZ125 under number 728, out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This site is where I tell people about the agents I build and where you can request one. It isn't a company, just me.

My mom helps me run it. If anything on this page bothers you, email me at cohentpeterson@icloud.com and I'll sort it out.

What I collect from you

There's no account to make here, no login, and no newsletter. Two things touch your data at all, and here they are.

If you use the request form

Whatever you type into the request form on this site gets emailed to me. That's these fields and nothing else:

  • Your name
  • The best way to reach you
  • What you're interested in
  • The problem, in your words
  • What tools are involved
  • A rough budget
  • The consent checkbox, which says it's okay for me to email or text you back

There's no hidden field grabbing your location or your device. If you didn't type it, I don't get it.

Counting page views

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people open each page. It doesn't use cookies and it doesn't fingerprint your device. What I see is a number, like how many people opened my racing page this week. I can't tell that any of them were you.

There are no ads here. No retargeting pixel, no Meta pixel, no Google Analytics. I've never sold anything about a visitor to anyone and I'm not going to start.

Why I collect it

WhatWhat I use it forWhy I'm allowed to
Your contact form messageReading it and writing you backYou chose to send it and ticked the consent box
Page view countsKnowing which pages are worth keeping currentLegitimate interest, and no personal data is involved

Your email address gets used to reply to you. That's it. You won't end up on a list.

Who else is involved

Running a site means a few other companies touch it. This is the whole list, honestly.

WhoWhat they do hereWhat they can see
CloudflareHosts the site and sends you the filesNormal server request info, including your IP address, the same as any web host
Web3FormsGets my contact form into my inboxOnly what you typed, and only once you hit send
Google CalendarMy race schedule embed on the Racing pageNothing, unless you load it. I keep it switched off until you tap the button. More in my cookie policy.
Google FontsSends the four typefaces the site usesYour IP address, because that's how a file gets sent to you

My Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Snapchat are linked from here but not embedded. Nothing loads from those apps until you tap a link and leave. Once you're over there, their privacy policy applies, not mine.

How long I keep it

  • Your message sits in my email. I delete it once we're done talking, and after two years at the outside.
  • The page view numbers are just totals. There's nothing in them that points at you.
  • Nothing gets saved into a database on this site, because this site doesn't have one.

What you can ask me for

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what I hold about you, to have it fixed, to have it deleted, or to tell me to stop using it. For my site that realistically means the email you sent me.

Email cohentpeterson@icloud.com and ask. There's no form and no fee. I'll get back to you inside thirty days.

South Dakota doesn't have a general consumer privacy law right now. I'm offering these anyway because it's how I'd want to be treated.

If you are under 13

This site isn't aimed at kids under 13 and nothing here is written for them. If that's you, please don't use my contact form. If you're a parent and you think your child sent me something through it, email me and I'll delete it.

If this changes

If I change this page, I change the date at the top of it. This site is small enough that keeping a version history would be pretending, so whatever is here now is what applies.
